Note the font of "Sulphur Springs" and that the grain shows through the label. This is a Rib Grain (horizontal, not vertical - which makes a difference, since they grained the cloth in a particular direction, and the entire roll of cloth was grained and then cut to size. A horizontal grain is atypical). It is rare to have a label on the front cover; it is more common to have a label on the spine.
Inside Book Covers: brown paper; signature inside front cover (Stephen Diggott, with a lot of flourishes, but faint and difficult to read)
Paper Edges: unadorned
Illustrations: opposite the title page, there is an illustration of Fauquier Springs, Fauquier County, VA, West View. Note details, especially the architecture of the main Building
