- The Hurst edition includes “Principal Persons of the Story” and the Anderson edition does not
- The illustrations in the Anderson edition have captions, but do not in the Hurst edition
- The Anderson edition has advertisements in the back (for other books in the Rollo series, Roget’s Thesaurus, Dickens’s Little Folks Books, The Boyhood and Manhood of James A Garfield, etc.; the Hurst edition does not
